A Royal visitor and stunning aerial displays were just some of the highlights on the first day of World Defense Show in Riyadh, filmed by Smart Digital.
The second edition of the event was inugurated by His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi Minister of Defense in Riyadh.
His Royal Highness toured the exhibition, which features more than 773 exhibitors representing more than 75 countries, alongside numerous government entities and leading local and international companies in the defence and security sector.
The Royal endorsement underscores the Kingdom’s commitment to hosting an event which ranks among the top defence and security exhibitions globally and showcases the Kingdom’s commitment to becoming a global hub for the industry. It also affirms Saudi Arabia’s ambition to become a centre for organising exhibitions across all fields.
The Day One highlights video for World Defense Show saw aerial and static aircraft displays and ground equipment caught on camera plus some of the new technologies on display at the event.
World Defense Show is organised by the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI) and takes place until February 8, 2024
