For 21 years, CABSAT has evolved to be the number one event in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia region for all industry professionals within the Broadcast, Satel Content Delivery and Digital Media sectors. CABSAT covers the creation, exchange, management, distribution and monetisation of all filmed entertainment and radio content. Being a broadcast show, it was vital our CABSAT TV offering was cutting-edge and used the most innovative event technology, to tap into the great brands and technologies available at the show. As such, Smart Digital setup and built a bespoke studio set, fully kitted out by a local JVC distributor – Oasis Enterprises – to become our base at the show.This was then used to interview a ‘who’s who’ of the broadcast and content delivery world – Coca Cola, Netflix, Channel 4, ITV to name but a few

Project Details

The 30+ interviews and special features, together with the daily highlights, were broadcast across a network of 2 giant indoor LED walls and 18 plasmas screens strategically placed at the café points and registration areas. Content was available via the web-based video player, YouTube, blog and daily EDMs.
Creating such a high-impact network of content throughout the show and beyond, across social media, YouTube and the blog, meant that the advertisers and exhibitors at the show could extend their presence throughout the show and beyond.
